πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Skamania County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on two development proposals at its July 13 meeting. The first hearing, ZON-2026-001, concerns utilities questions and answers related to the Artbliss Hotel project. The second hearing, VAR-2026-001, addresses parking requirements for the Artbliss Hotel. A third item, VAR-2026-002, will review a variance request for an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) on a property owned by Schade.

The Planning Commission meeting will take place on July 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Skamania County Government Center. The public is invited to attend and provide comments on the proposed developments. A separate regular Council Meeting is scheduled for July 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., where final decisions on these items may be made.

The Artbliss Hotel is located in the Wind River corridor, a key area for tourism and development in Skamania County. The ADU variance request relates to a residential property in the Carson area. Both proposals will be reviewed for compliance with county zoning regulations and impact on the community.
