Skamania County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on July 13, 2026, for two development-related items. The first hearing, ZON-2026-001, addresses utilities questions and answers. The second, VAR-2026-001, concerns parking requirements for the Artbliss Hotel project. A third hearing, VAR-2026-002, will review a proposed accessory dwelling unit (ADU) variance for the Schade property.

The Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on July 13, 2026, at the Skamania County Courthouse, 100 Main Street, Stevenson. The public is invited to attend and provide input. The County Board of Commissioners will consider these items at their regular meeting on July 16, 2026, at the same location and time.

The Artbliss Hotel project and Schade ADU variance are the first major development proposals to reach the Planning Commission this year. Residents can find more details on the county website or by contacting the Planning Department at 509-595-2200.
