Skamania County will hold public hearings on two development proposals in July. The Planning Commission will meet on July 13 at 6 p.m. to discuss ZON-2026-001, a utility-related matter. Two variance requests will be heard: VAR-2026-001 for the Artbliss Hotel regarding parking requirements, and VAR-2026-002 for a Schade property seeking an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) variance.
The County Council will meet on July 16 at 6 p.m. to consider the Planning Commission's recommendations. A second Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for August 10 at 6 p.m. All meetings will be held at the Skamania County Courthouse, 100 Main Street, Stevenson.
